Mediastream AG lays out ESG ambitions
Mediastream AG has partnered with the governments of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), South Sudan and Papua New Guinea to ensure that igaming regulation is implemented to protect vulnerable customers.
Mediastream has served as supplier for some of the industry’s biggest brands but is now aiming to tackle the issue of unregulated gambling in developing countries.
“It’s shocking how things work in these countries,” claimed Mediastream CEO Daniel Grabher. “Young kids using the money from selling an apple to place a bet at an umbrella shop. No one seems to care. But it’s not that the government doesn’t care. The reality is that there are many pressing challenges on their agenda.
“However, it’s crucial that education starts at this level, showing the people in charge that there are alternatives.
“Mediastream offers a solution—a one-stop-shop partnership for the governments to help regulate and create a healthier gaming environment within the country.”
