Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip has reopened its poker room after renovations. After dealing its final hand in July 2024, it had been operating in temporary digs at the Appian Way retail area since May 2025.

Unfortunately for the World Series of Poker (WSOP) room, the renovations were done mostly to the high-limit slot area, which was temporarily located to the poker room’s space near the sportsbook.

However, Caesars Entertainment did announce a “significant enhancement” to the poker room at its flagship property as well.

“We’ve listened to your feedback and have invested in your comfort by introducing brand-new, ergonomic chairs and creating more spacious layouts throughout the room,” it announced on X (formerly Twitter).

To create that extra space, however, two tables were eliminated, so the room now offers 16.

The room, which continues to offer a mix of daily tournaments and continuous cash games, also offers $1 more in comps per hour to Player Rewards members, who now earn $3 per hour for all live-action cash games.

Though Caesars Entertainment sold the intellectual property rights to the WSOP for $500 million in 2024 NSUS Group Inc., the parent company of GGPoker, it seems to be throwing more chips into the game. It reopened Planet Hollywood’s poker room in May, and continues to operate the only online poker operation in Nevada.

As part of the terms of the aforementioned WSOP, Caesars will also continue to host poker’s big game at Horseshoe and Paris until 2044.

The current poker room at Caesars Palace opened 10 years ago, near the sportsbook and Mesa Grill, just before the property’s former poker room was encroached upon by an expansion of the former Pure nightclub.

There are currently 18 active poker rooms in Las Vegas casinos, down from more than 30 before the pandemic.
