An extremely lucky player in New Jersey has turned their lottery ticket into a $22 million payday after correctly matching all six numbers in Saturday night’s Pick 6 drawing.

Lucky Player Ends Pick 6’s Jackpot Drought

As the game’s name suggests, Pick 6 players need to pick six numbers for a shot at mouth-watering prizes. In this case, the player correctly guessed all of them, winning him the game’s top prize. According to lottery officials, the player opted to take the lump cash option of approximately $10 million.

For context, the winning numbers were 6, 7, 13, 15, 36 and 45.

The incredible prize reached this height after evading players’ attempts to win for some 63 drawings in a row. The previous jackpot was won in May and stood at $5.9 million.  

Jersey Cash 5 Handed Several Jackpots in a Row

In other news, the New Jersey lottery just handed its 54^th Jersey Cash 5 jackpot, which stood at $367,369. This win came only a few days after a separate player grabbed the game’s 53^rd jackpot, which had reached the somewhat unusual $1.6 million.

September was a favorable month for Jersey Cash 5 players, crowning several winners. These included the 52nd jackpot, which saw two players split a $3.8 million pot. Previously, two players simultaneously struck a jackpot of $1.2 million, while two separate players, one of Sussex County and another of Union County, won $150,000 each.

Elsewhere, a Connecticut player just grabbed $2 million from Mega Millions. The Missouri Lottery, on the other hand, unveiled two major winners, including the winner of a $1 million Gold Rush prize and the winner of a $100K Merry Money prize.
