The moment it went wrong for ElenaShinohara (Picture: Twitch)
A Twitch streamer has accidently smashed her computer set-up trying to perform a gymnastics trick, much to her fans’ amusement.
It’s not uncommon to see streamers on Twitch rage while playing games and then take it out on their innocent gaming gear, by punching their monitor or chucking their controller at the wall.
Twitch star IShowSpeed is known for jumpubg head first onto his gaming desk, and Kai Cenat once smashed his gaming setup to pieces after losing £240,000 to rapper 21 Savage while playing Madden NFL 24.
Now a clip of another setup being wrecked has gone viral, but this time the streamer just wanted to do a gymnastic trick with a ball that went terribly wrong.
Fitness streamer ElenaShinohara was trying to copy a video where a gymnast threw a ball in the air then did an elegant cartwheel as the ball bounced on their back, before catching it again.
Elena had created space for herself to do the stunt, but completely failed as she kicked the ball into the air with force, smashing something off camera that then fell on her camera and streaming equipment.
The stream footage was momentarily disrupted, adding another layer of comedic effect to it all, while fans in her chat couldn’t stop laughing.
The clip quickly went viral on Reddit, where the video was titled ‘Artistic way to ruin your streaming room’, with Ginge calling it a ’10/10 clip’.

What makes it worse is that Elena is a former rhythmic gymnast in the US national team, which must make the incident even more embarrassing.
It’s hilarious though, and she didn’t get hurt – just her streaming setup – so we recommend checking it out below if you’re in the market for a chuckle.
